Tecnam P2006T...

Tecnam P2006T – This Is One Of The Most Economical Twins You Can Find...

Normally you would never think of the words "twin engine airplane" & "economical" in the same sentence.. That is because you have probably never taken a good look at the Tecnam P2006T. This is a great light twin engine four seater that has pretty much everything your going to need & it is economical.

IMPORTANT: If you are simply looking for a twin engine airplane that goes very fast, your probably not going to like the Tecnam P2006T. It is not the fastest twin engine airplane on the market and you would never buy it for speed. But if you are looking for the safety factor & want a twin - this just might be the airplane for you.

Here's 2 Great Things About The Tecnam P2006T...

#1 - It Is Great On Gas...

The thing I like about this airplane is the fact that it is really good on fuel! You have to remember, it has 2 Rotax 912S3 engines that give it just under 100 horsepower on each side. Now, that is not a lot of total horsepower when you add them up. Your going to have just a bit less then 200 horsepower to work with.

But you should only burn about 10 gph when you are flying! That is pretty good & compares very well with a lot of single engine airplanes that have the same or similar horsepower. Now you have to realize that a lot is going to depend on power settings & what you are doing. But there are not many twin engine airplanes that will burn 10 gph.

Not only that, you have the luxury of flying with Rotax engines. The great thing about these engines is the fact that Rotax has built thousands of engines over the decades and knows what they are doing. Not only that, you can use both 92 octane & 100LL with this airplane.

#2 - It Has Great Performance Specifications..

That is the other great thing about this airplane - it performs well. Like I have said, it is not the fastest twin on the market and it was never designed to be...

You should be able to see around 135 knot cruise speeds with the Tecnam P2006T. Now remember that you are going to have less then 200 horsepower working for you. So, that is a pretty good cruise speed when you consider this.

Not only that, it has a very roomy cockpit and cabin. It is a 4 seater and if you do your weight & balance the right way you should be able to fill all four seats and still have room for a good amount of fuel to get you to where you want to go.
