Sportcruiser - This Is A VERY Nice Looking 2 Seater You Should Look At...
When it comes to getting a newer or new 2 seater that is LSA certified (depending on your country) you have probably seen that there are a variety of styles and designs to choose from. In fact, some of the 2 seaters on the market are just down right ugly! But some, like the Sportcruiser are very nice looking & are a potential great opportunity for you if your in the market...
IMPORTANT: When you are looking at buying a manufactured 2 seater LSA, you are going to want to make sure you have the licence to match the airplane & that the airplane is certified in your country. Don't make the mistake some people do and just assume that it is certified! Just check into it before you buy the airplane you are considering...
Here's Why The Sportcruiser Might Be A Good 2 Seater Option...
Reason #1 - The Company Has Been Around For A Really Long Time...
This is a very important thing you are going to want to make sure you look at when you are considering a light sport aircraft. If the company is brand new, you have to make sure you know what you are doing as you don't want to be one of ten owners of some airplane that is no longer serviced.
The Sportcruiser is made by CZECH Sport Aircraft & the companies roots go back to 1934 in Kunovice, Czechoslovakia.(1) And the great thing about this is that not only does this company have a long history, they are from Europe.
The reason that is important is because of the fact that historically, European countries are known for their amazing design work and manufacturing. And you will probably find that the Sportcruiser is no different.
Not only that, there have been reportedly over 400 of these airplanes built!(2) So chances are pretty good your not going to be the only one to own one of them!
Reason #2 - They Have Some Great Features You Should Know About...
One of the things that I really like about this airplane is the way that you get into the cockpit. When you get in, you open the hatch up and the whole glass roof of the airplane goes up and swings forward. The reason that this is cool is because you don't have to fold yourself in half to get into the airplane.
You simply climb in, reach up and bring the roof back down over you and your ready to go! And as you know with many other airplanes, you have to climb on things and squeeze in if you want to get into it.
Another thing that is nice about the Sportcruiser is the fact that the control stick is between your legs verses on the side or in the dash. This is a nice feature because you can more naturally fly the airplane and have a better sense of what you are doing.
Some people like having the control stick on the very left hand side and some people like to have a traditional yoke that comes out of the dash. But if you like having the stick, you'll probably really like this airplane a lot.
